Harold Sanger Raises $28K in Clayton Mayoral Bid

A list of supporters for Sanger's campaign is included in the article.

A committee supporting Harold Sanger's bid to become the next mayor of Clayton raised $28,403 in contributions through Feb. 21, according to the most recent campaign finance reports filed with St. Louis County. 

Jack Taylor, the founder of Enterprise, and former State Rep. Barbara Fraser were among the notable contributors to Sanger's campaign. Sanger received 15 separate contributions of $500 or more, including a $2,000 contribution from Taylor.

Sanger is running against Ward 3 Alderman Alex Berger III and Ward 2 Alderwoman Michelle Harris

Sanger's committee spent about $5,000 of the contributions as of Feb. 20, with most of it going to printing, mailings, door hangers and logo design. More information about campaign contributions for both opponents is available on Patch.

The next round of campaign finance reports will be due on March 25, eight days before the election. The election is set for April 2.

Under election laws, committees are required to report contributions and expenditures amounting to more than $100. A full list of contributors who paid more than $100 to Sanger's committee is included below.
