Grant to Fund Clayton Tennis Court Upgrades

The money is available through the Municipal Park Grant Commission of St. Louis County.

The Municipal Park Grant Commission of St. Louis County has announced approximately $3 million in grants for 18 parks, including one in .

The surfaces of 10 tennis courts at in will be replaced with post-tension concrete using a $232,000 award.

According to the commission's website, the group formed in 2000 after voters approved a new sales tax to help improve, restore and expand municipal parks and recreation programs.
