A two-day electronics recycling event is planned March 23-24 in the South Parking Lot of Shaw Park. The event, in its eighth year, is a partnership among the City of Clayton Public Works Department, the Clayton Ecology and Environmental Awareness Committee and the nonprofit Web Innovations and Technology Services (WITS).
The event runs from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, March 23 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 24.
The following items may be recycled:
- Computers
- Printers
- Phones
- Pagers
- Fax machines
- Small appliances
- Copy machines
- TVs
Bulk pickup is available to businesses, which are asked to make a donation to offset the cost of gas. Forms may be downloaded by going to claytonmo.gov/e-recycling and may be returned to WITS by emailing dispatch@witsinc.com no later than 5 p.m. Friday, March 9.
