Clayton Election Forum Planned March 28

The candidates forum will happen in the Clayton High School auditorium.

A Meet the Candidates forum is planned at 7 p.m. March 28 in the auditorium. Election Day is Tuesday.

The event is sponsored by the PTO Council and the Mayor's Youth Advisory Council.

First, Clayton Board of Aldermen candidates will have the opportunity to introduce themselves, an email from the district states. They will not respond to questions because those races are uncontested.

Then, Clayton Board of Education candidates will introduce themselves and answer questions from the audience. Ahead of the event, attendees may download guidelines for asking questions of board candidates.

Three people are seeking election to the school board. Voters will be able to select two of them.
