A list of supporters for Berger III's campaign is included in the article.

Almonds Restaurant and City Coffee House are among the contributors to Alex Berger III's campaign to become the next mayor of Clayton.

That's according to campaign finance reports filed with the Missouri Ethics Commission. Documents show that Berger III raised $13,710 through Feb. 20. About $11,000 of that was received between Jan. 1 and Feb. 16, 2013, which is the most recent filing period. The rest of the contributions were made before then.

Berger III is running against Ward 2 Alderwoman Michelle Harris and former alderman Harold Sanger.

Through February, his committee spent $9,274, with much of that going to mailing costs, databases from CompleteCampaigns.com and advertising (disclosure: Patch received advertising payments). More information about campaign contributions for both opponents is available on Patch.

The next round of campaign finance reports will be due on March 25, eight days before the election. The election is set for April 2.
