Aldermen Agenda: Domestic Partnership Registry to Receive Consideration

The Clayton Board of Aldermen is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.

The creation of a domestic partnership registry is among the items scheduled for discussion Tuesday by the Clayton Board of Aldermen.

The meeting is set to begin at 7 p.m. at . No discussion session is planned beforehand.

  • Consider approving the fourth-quarter budget amendment for fiscal year 2011.
  • Consider amending city code to establish a process for registering and acknowledging domestic partnerships. The code would extend access to registered domestic partners in areas such as family memberships and dependent access, a city memo states. If approved, Clayton would join neighboring last year.
  • Consider approving a contract with Superior Waterproofing and Restoration Company totaling approximately $79,000 for repair work at Hanley House. The work will include replacing damaged bricks and the applying a sealant to settlement cracks.
