Aldermen Agenda: Commissions, Wine Bars, Taxes

Organization of the city's boards and commissions, wine bars and taxes are among the items set for discussion Tuesday by the Clayton Board of Aldermen.

DISCUSSION SESSION (6:15 P.M.)

• Review . Aldermen have been working for the past several weeks to clarify city code on the structure of these entities.

REGULAR MEETING (7 P.M.)

• Hear a proclamation recognizing Sept. 17-23 as Constitution Week

• Hold a public hearing to consider two items. The first is a resolution (No. 11-32) to approve a conditional use permit for a personal training facility at , 155 Carondelet Plaza. The second is an ordinance (No. 6278) that would in certain sections of the city zoned for commercial use.

• Review a separate ordinance (No. 6279) that would amend another portion of city code regarding wine bars.

• Consider approving an ordinance (No. 6272) that would adopt .

• Consider approving an ordinance (No. 6273) that would adopt the operating and capital improvement budget for the 2012 fiscal year.

• Review an ordinance (No. 6280) that would maintain city services regarding the .

• Review an ordinance (No. 6281) that would amend the city manager's employment agreement.

• Consider approving a liquor license for , 6451 Clayton Rd.

EXECUTIVE SESSION (TBD)

• The aldermen may vote on whether to hold a closed meeting regarding legal issues, real estate, personnel, negotiation of a contract and proprietary information, or a combination thereof.
