Woman is Enraged After Victoria's Secret Manager Refuses Return, Throws Items at Her

Here are a few of the crimes that occurred  between Aug. 1 and Aug 6 in Richmond Heights. Clayton-Richmond Heights Patch obtained the accounts from the Richmond Heights Police Department.

August 1

  • A woman's car was broken into and her stereo speakers, laptop computer and iPod were stolen at St. Mary’s Health Center.
  • Officers responded to Urban Outfitters St. Louis Galleria where security detained a person for stealing $165 in merchandise. The person was arrested and later released on a summons.
  • A woman's car window was smashed on the Esquire parking lot. She said nothing was taken from the vehicle.
  • A woman's car was broken into on the Esquire parking lot. She reported the thief stole her wallet and tablet-computer.
  • A man's car was broken into on the Esquire parking lot. He reported the thief stole his cellphone.

August 2

  • Officers responded to Sephora where security detained a person for stealing $29.99 in merchandise and punching a security guard in the chest, knocking him to the floor. The person was arrested and held pending a municipal warrant application.
  • Someone stole a man's bike off his front porch in the 7400 block of Ethel.

August 3

  • Officers responded to Macy’s at St. Louis Galleria where loss prevention detained three people for stealing $585.74 in merchandise. They were arrested and held pending a municipal warrant application.
  • The store manager at Victoria's Secret St. Louis Galleria reported that a person attempted to return items that were suspected of being stolen. The manager said when she refused to accept the return, the person picked items up from the cash register area and threw them at the manager, striking her in the face and chest. The woman then ran away.
  • Nordstrom St. Louis Galleria security reported that a man stole three watches valued at $783.80.
  • Officers responded to Sephora at St. Louis Galleria where security detained a person for stealing $90 in merchandise. The person was arrested and later released on a summons.

August 4

  • A woman's purse was stolen from her car, which was unlocked at 22 The Boulevard. She reported her debit card as being used at Macy’s at St. Louis Galleria.
  • An accident occurred on the Interstate 64 at the Interstate 70 interchange resulting in injury and transportation to the emergency room for three people. The person driving the vehicle that caused the crash was arrested for suspicion of DWI and second-degree assault.

August 5

  • Officers responded to Macy’s at St. Louis Galleria where security detained two juveniles for stealing $274.97 in merchandise. The juveniles were arrested and taken to the St. Louis County Juvenile Detention Center.
  • Officers responded to Dillard’s at St. Louis Galleria where security detained a person for stealing $145 in merchandise. The person was arrested and later released on a summons.
  • Nordstrom St. Louis Galleria security reported that three people entered the store and stole several stacks of Burberry brand clothing. The people ran out of the store with the merchandise and into a waiting vehicle making good their escape.
  • Officers responded to Macy’s at St. Louis Galleria where security detained a person for stealing $171.92 in merchandise. The person was arrested and held on a municipal warrant application.

August 6

  • Officers responded to Macy’s at St. Louis Galleria where security detained two subjects for stealing $269.99 in merchandise. The subjects were arrested and later released on summonses.
  • A woman returned home to find a window at the rear of her house open and several pieces of jewelry and money missing in the 7700 block of St. Albans.
