Prosecutor: Woman Charged With Filing False Report of Fake Cop Assault

The woman initially told the Clayton Police Department that a man who appeared to be an officer dragged her from her car and assaulted her.

Charges were filed Wednesday against a by someone posing as a police officer, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office said.
