Two Charged With Assaulting and Robbing Man Outside Galleria

Three teens assaulted a man outside the Galleria and took his watch and cell phone May 27, Richmond Heights Police reported.
Two men have been charged in the attack. Afernee McAtee, 17, of the 2600 block of Rutger Street in the city of St. Louis, and Antonio Meanus III, 17, of the 9700 block of Vickie Place in North County east of Dellwood, were charged Tuesday with second-degree robbery.
Richmond Heights Police said Meanus and McAtee punched the man and pushed him to the ground at about 9:35 p.m. Tuesday at Galleria Parkway and South Brentwood Boulevard.
Meanus took the man’s watch, cell phone and battery charger while McAtee and a third person held the man down, according to a police report.
Richmond Heights Police said Meanus and McAtee were identified by a witness.
Both are being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail has been set at $40,000, cash only, for Meanus and McAtee.
