Thieves Steal $6,700 in True Religion Jeans, Escape to Waiting Car

Monday, July 22

  • Victim stated that person(s) unknown broke the rear window of his vehicle at Waterhout Construction. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.
  • Officers responded to Macy’s where security detained a subject for stealing $298 in merchandise. The subject was arrested and released on a summons.
  • Victim stated that person(s) unknown broke the rear window of his vehicle at The Heights. The vehicle’s stereo was stolen.
  • Four subjects entered the True Religion store and stole stacks of jeans valued at $6,738. The subjects fled the mall on foot, entering a vehicle that was waiting at an exit and escaped.
Tuesday, July 23
  • Victim stated that person(s) unknown entered her vehicle at The Boulevard and stole her laptop computer.
  • Bank teller at Schnucks reported that a subject approached her and presented a letter demanding money. The teller complied with the demand, giving the subject $1570 from the cash drawer. The subject fled on foot.
