Taser Ends Police Chase Along Highway 40 in Richmond Heights

Wednesday, Nov. 9
A Texas resident reported an incident of fraud after wiring money to purchase a car on eBay via Western Union, 6600 Clayton Rd. The money was picked up but had not yet contacted the victim again. An investigation was ongoing.

Thursday, Nov. 10
A large rock was thrown through the front window of , 1030 S. Brentwood Blvd. It happened during early morning. An investigation was ongoing.

Two 15-year-old women were arrested on suspicion of trespassing at the , 1155 Saint Louis Galleria. It happened after they argued with security personnel and police when they were asked to leave because of disorderly conduct. Both were later released to their parents.

Friday, Nov. 11
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stealing several items from the Sprint kiosk, 5550 Saint Louis Galleria. Police said he hid in a nearby restroom afterward. He was being held on a $700 municipal bond.

Saturday, Nov. 12
A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault in the 7500 block of Dale Avenue after he pushed his wife down a flight of steps after an argument. He was being held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stealing and escaping custody in connection with an incident at , 2441 Saint Louis Galleria. Police said he was arrested and taken to the police station, where he ran from officers as they took him from a prisoner van to the building. Police said they used a Taser to stop him as he ran along Highway 40. He was being held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

Sunday, Nov. 13
A 17-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of stealing at , 2466 Saint Louis Galleria. She received a summons and was released.

A laptop was reported stolen at community center, 8001 Dale Ave. The victim told police the computer had been inside a backpack, which was stored beneath a bench at the facility. An investigation was ongoing.

A 66-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stealing at , 6600 Clayton Rd. He was being held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

Two men, ages 19 and 24, were arrested on suspicion of marijuana possession after a traffic stop in the 7500 block of Dale Avenue. They received summonses and were released.

Monday, Nov. 14
A store employee reported her purse stolen from , 1105 Saint Louis Galleria. Credit cards inside the purse later were used at a number of stores. An investigation was ongoing.

A display phone worth $550 was reported stolen from the Sprint kiosk, 5550 Saint Louis Galleria. An investigation was ongoing.

Tuesday, Nov. 15
A victim reported that a young man stole his phone and ran to a waiting vehicle at , 1445 Saint Louis Galleria. The phone had been lying on a table. An investigation was ongoing.
