Suspicious Person Found at MetroLink Station with Hypodermic Needles, Police Say

Sunday, Sept. 1

  • An officer patrolling the Galleria lot spotted a vehicle involved in a grab and run from the Aeropostale store. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle which fled the scene at a high rate of speed, striking the highway embankment at Brentwood and I-64. The vehicle and suspect were later located at Clayton and I-64. The subject was arrested and held pending a muni warrant application. All property was recovered.
  • An officer was directed to the MetroLink Station to check on a suspicious person. Investigation found the subject to be in possession of three hypodermic needles and an aluminum can bottom with brownish residue. The subject was arrested and held pending a municipal warrant application.
