Suspect in Clayton Bank Robbery Linked to Webster Groves Case

Officials have dubbed him the Same-Coat Bandit.

The man suspected of may have also robbed a bank Wednesday in Webster Groves, officials said.

Authorities have dubbed him the Same-Coat Bandit. The suspect may be responsible for Wednesday's robbery at the Webster Groves branch of , 8083 Watson Rd.

The man suspected of at about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday is described as white, having a thin to medium build and in his 20s. He wore a tan hooded jacket and did not display a weapon. Dark material covered part of his face.

According to BanditTrackerStLouis.com, the Same-Coat Bandit is also a suspect in three other recent robberies:

  • Affton: Feb. 3 at Regions Bank at 9100 Gravois Rd.;
  • Clayton: Jan. 25 at  at 150 N. Meramec;
  • St. Louis: Jan. 9 at American Eagle Credit Union at 4650 Hampton Ave.
