Monday, July 16
The U.S. Secret Service received notification that a perpetrator used two counterfeit $20 bills at a checkout lane at Schnucks, 6600 Clayton Rd. There were no suspects.

Tuesday, July 17
Stolen checks were cashed at Schnucks. The perpetrator appears to have cashed stolen checks at other Schnucks stores through the St. Louis metro area.

Two people were arrested in connection with the recovery of a stolen car on the parking lot of the Saint Louis Galleria. The two said they got the car from a friend. The vehicle had been reported stolen in Memphis, TN. They were released while police applied for a warrant.

Wednesday, July 18
An 18-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of stealing from Macy's at the Galleria. She was released while police applied for a warrant.

Two perpetrators took $109 in merchandise from Janie and Jack's, a children's clothing store at the Galleria. The store manager reported the incident after the perpetrators had left the area.

Friday, July 20
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stealing from his employer, Dillard's at the Galleria. He received a summons before being released.

A possible suspect has been identified in the theft of sandals valued at $110 from EJ's Designer Shoes, 1114 Brentwood Blvd. The suspected perpetrator is a customer. An investigation was ongoing.

A 35-year-old woman is suspected of stealing jewelry from Coach at the Galleria. A closed-circuit TV camera captured the crime. Store personnel know the suspect, and an investigation was ongoing.

A 28-year-old woman is suspected of stealing from Love Culture at the Galleria. She received a summons before being released.

Saturday, July 21
A resident of Lake Forest Drive reported finding his empty luggage in a plastic trash container next to his house. The victim made the discovery four days after the airline with which he had recently flown emailed him to say that the luggage had been delivered. He had contacted the airlines after the luggage did not arrive following a flight from Chicago to St. Louis.

A wallet containing credit cards and cash was reported stolen from the bar at PF Chang's, 25 The Boulevard. The victim told police he paid his tab and left the restaurant without picking up his wallet. When he returned to get it, he discovered the wallet had been stolen.

Two 14-year-olds were arrested on suspicion of stealing from Claire's at the Galleria. They were turned over to their respective parents, and the case was forwarded to St. Louis County Family Court.

A 53-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of trying to steal liquor at Schnucks. She received a summons before being released.

Sunday, July 22
A purse with credit cards, a checkbook and cash was reported stolen from a patient at SSM St. Mary's Health Center, 6420 Clayton Rd.

A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stealing from Macy's at the Galleria. He was held while police applied for a warrant.

Tuesday, July 24
Cash was taken from a guest's room at Residence Inn, 8011 Galleria Parkway.
