Thursday, Dec. 1
A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at , 1105 . He was held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

A 17-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at , 1155 Saint Louis Galleria. He was held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

Friday, Dec. 2
A 20-year-old woman was being sought in connection with an incident at , 6510 Clayton Rd. She deposited two fraudulent checks and then withdrew cash, police said.

Several items were reported stolen from a woman's locker at , 8001 Dale Ave.

A 36-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Dillard's. They were held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

A home in the 1600 block of Yale Avenue was burglarized while its residents were out for the evening. An investigation was ongoing.

Saturday, Dec. 3
A 25-year-old woman employed by , 6420 Clayton Rd., was arrested on suspicion of stealing from the hospital's gift shop. She received a summons and was released.

A breast pump and GPS were stolen from vehicles parked in the SSM St. Mary's parking garage. A 1999 Toyota Camry and a 2009 BMW X3 had been broken into. The breast pump later was found in the garage. It appeared to have been discarded.

Sunday, Dec. 4
A TV and computer were stolen during the burglary of a private residence in the 7600 block of Lindbergh Drive. An investigation was ongoing.

Monday, Dec. 5
A 32-year-old male was being sought after an incident in the parking lot of The Heights. He is suspected of having assaulted his 14-year-old sister, police said.

Tuesday, Dec. 6
A 25-year-old woman faces an assault charge after an incident in the SSM St. Mary's emergency room. She was involved in an altercation with two hospital employees, police said.

A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at True Religion, 1442 Saint Louis Galleria. He was held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

A house in the 8500 block of Antler Drive was burglarized. The victim reported that it happened while he was out for the day and that he had left his front door unlocked.

Wednesday, Dec. 7
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Macy's. He received a summons and was released.

Thursday, Dec. 8
A 300-pound plaster bust of Queen Victoria was reported stolen from the pool area of hotel, 6306 Clayton Rd.

Friday, Dec. 9
A 39-year-old man was arrested, after a short foot pursuit, on suspicion of trespassing and resisting arrest after police said he tampered with the Christmas decorations of a resident in the 1700 block of Banneker Avenue. He was held on a $1,000 bond.

A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Macy's and trespassing. He had been banned from the mall in connection with an October arrest on suspicion of stealing. He was held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

Saturday, Dec. 10
A 47-year-old woman was being sought after police said she left multiple scratches on her 47-year-old boyfriend's face at a private residence in the 7900 block of Jones Avenue.

Monday, Dec. 12
A 15-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of property damage at , 2126 Saint Louis Galleria. He tore the sensor tags off of a piece of clothing and was released to his mother, police said.

A GPS was stolen from a 2002 Pontiac Firebird parked in the Galleria lot. The perpetrator smashed one of the vehicle's windows. An investigation was ongoing.

A 21-year-old woman who works at Nordstrom was being sought on suspicion of stealing a $350 gift card.

Tuesday, Dec. 13
A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing at the Galleria. He had been arrested in October on suspicion of creating a disturbance and banned from the mall for a year. He was held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

The tire of a car was cut while the vehicle was parked in the Galleria lot.

Wednesday, Dec. 14
A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of tampering and resisting arrest in the 1000 block of Hanley Road after police said he ran from an officer during a traffic stop. He had been driving a stolen motorcycle, police said.

Thursday, Dec. 15
Electronics were stolen during a burglary a private residence in the 7700 block of West Bruno Avenue. It happened while the victim was out for the evening.

Friday, Dec. 16
A 16-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Macy's. She was turned over to juvenile authorities when her parents could not be located.

Saturday, Dec. 17
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Dillard's. He received a summons and was released.

A 16-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary after an incident at a private residence in the 1600 block of Del Norte Avenue. Police said the resident awoke when the suspect entered his home through an unlocked rear door. The suspect ran from the house but soon after was caught by police, who turned him over to juvenile authorities.

A security officer did not require medical attention after being hit by a vehicle while directing traffic in the Galleria parking lot. The vehicle left the scene and was being sought.

Sunday, Dec. 18
Several electronic items were stolen from a 2007 Saturn Aura as it was parked in the Galleria lot.

Two sisters, ages 19 and 20, were arrested on suspicion of stealing at Macy's. The 19-year-old, a Macy's cashier, is suspected of having helped her sister steal more than $1,700 in merchandise. They were released pending a review of the case by state prosecutors.

Tuesday, Dec. 20
Two men are suspected of having stolen 20 pairs of jeans, valued at $6,500, from True Religion. They escaped in a waiting car. An investigation was ongoing.

A 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Macy's. She received a summons and was released.

Wednesday, Dec. 21
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Dillard's. He received a summons and was released.

The credit card information of a resident who lives in the 1200 block of Hawthorne Place was used to make several unauthorized online purchases.

A home was burglarized in the 1400 block of Hawthorne Place while the victim was out for the day. The perpetrator entered the housing through an unlocked door.

Thursday, Dec. 22
A victim reported that a driver hit her vehicle in the Galleria parking lot and left the scene. An investigation was ongoing.

An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at , 2466 Saint Louis Galleria. He received a summons and was released.

Friday, Dec. 23
A 32-year-old man is suspected of having caused property damage at , 1402 S. Hanley Rd., after he drove away from a gas pump while the hose nozzle was still in his gas tank. The nozzle was jerked out of the vehicle, resulting in damage to another vehicle and the pump.

Money was stolen from a wallet accidentally left at the checkout counter of , 2433 Saint Louis Galleria. Surveillance video showed a man removing the money. An investigation was ongoing.

Two shopping bags were stolen from the back seat of a vehicle parked in the Galleria lot. A window had been broken out.

Saturday, Dec. 24
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and disorderly conduct at the Galleria. Police said he was passing out ads inside the mall, which is against mall policy. Shortly after being asked to stop, police said, he started harassing shoppers and was advised to leave. He then became unruly and cursed at shoppers, at which point he was arrested. He was held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and shoplifting at , 1113 Saint Louis Galleria. He had been banned from the mall after an earlier arrest on suspicion of disorderly conduct. He was held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

Monday, Dec. 26
A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing at the Galleria because he had previously been banned in connection with an arrest there. He was held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

A 17-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Macy's. She received a summons and was released.

Two 15-year-old women were arrested on suspicion of assault after police said they fought at the Galleria. One of them is suspected of having hit a security officer who was trying to break up the fight. Each was released to a parent.

Members of the Major Case Squad were called to investigate the murder of a 35-year-old resident in the 1700 block of Banneker Avenue.

Tuesday, Dec. 27
Two men are suspected of grabbing six pairs of jeans from a display at Buckle, 2122 Saint Louis Galleria, and then running to a car that was waiting for them in the mall parking garage. An investigation was ongoing.

A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Hollister. He was held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

A man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and disorderly conduct after he refused to provide proof of his age to a security officer at the Galleria. He was told to leave after refusing to provide the information. He refused to leave, police said, prompting the arrest. He then yelled and cursed loudly.

Three people—a 17-year-old man, a 17-year-old woman and an 18-year-old woman—were arrested on suspicion of starting a fight at the Galleria. As the man ran from officers, a BB gun fell from his waistband, police said. He later was caught. All were held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Macy's. She received a summons and was released.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of trespassing at the Galleria because she had been banned over a stealing incident at the mall. She was held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

Thursday, Dec. 29
Two 16-year-old women were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Macy's. They were turned over to juvenile authorities after their parents could not be found.

A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Buckle. He was held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

Saturday, Dec. 31
A 25-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct at The Cheshire. They were loud and disorderly and had been kicked out of Residence Inn for behaving the same way, police said. They were held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

A backpack was stolen from the rear seat of a car parking in the Galleria garage.

Two people tried to use fake money to buy shoes at , 2476 Saint Louis Galleria. An investigation was ongoing.

The cellphone of an employee at , 1488 Saint Louis Galleria, was stolen from the store's back room.

An iPod was reported stolen from a purse during a party that happened at a house in the 1200 block of Sunset Avenue.

A cellphone was reported stolen during a party at , 8011 Galleria Parkway.
