Richmond Heights Police Blotter: Stolen Ford Used in Illinois Crimes

The following arrest information was supplied by the Richmond Heights Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • An employee of , 6360 Clayton Rd., told police that another employee assaulted her. She was treated for her injuries. Police were seeking the other employee.
  • A 30-year-old female told police that her 38-year-old boyfriend assaulted her following a disagreement about money at a private residence in the 1400 block of Lavington Drive. Police were seeking the man.

May 20

  • A 17-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting and property damage at , 2055 . Police said she is suspected of taking an item and damaging it by removing its sensor tag. She was being held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.
  • Two different victims reported that their Dodge Chargers were broken into while parked in a lot at the Galleria.
  • A 22-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident , 6600 Clayton Rd. Police said the man hit a car parked in the grocery store's lot with his truck and then left. Police found the man at his residence using reports from witnesses. He was being held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

  • A 16-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Icing, 2471 Saint Louis Galleria. She was released to a parent.

May 23

  • A 42-year-old male was arrested in connection with the theft of a Ford Ranger from a parking garage at 1035 Bellevue Ave. Police said the vehicle was used to commit two crimes in Illinois before the driver's arrest. An investigation was ongoing.
  • Victims reported that items were stolen from their unlocked lockers at , 8001 Dale Ave.
  • A victim reported that tools were taken from a construction area within the parking lot at 1035 Bellevue Ave. An investigation was ongoing.
