The Richmond Heights Police Department reported the following incidents on its website.

May 2

  • A 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting , 1550 . He received a summons and was released.

May 3

  • Cordia Plumbing, 1420 Big Bend Blvd., told police that someone has been using its credit card information to make purchases at stores in the area. An investigation was ongoing.
  • A 31-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting , 1105 Saint Louis Galleria. She received a summons and was released.

May 4

  • Two males, both age 14, were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Macy's. One was turned over to his parents, and the other was turned over to the when his parents could not be found.

May 5

  • A 47-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting , 6600 Clayton Rd. He was being held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.
  • A victim discovered evidence indicating that someone tried to get into his apartment i the 7300 block of Wise Avenue by way of a kitchen window. An investigation was ongoing.

May 6

  • Break-ins that apparently happened in the late afternoon at a Galleria parking lot were reported for four vehicles—a 2004 BMW, a 2009 Chevy, a 2009 Pontiac and a 2004 Pontiac. Various items had been taken from the vehicles, including a stereo, a purse, an iPod, CDs and sunglasses.
  • A 56-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Schnucks. She received a summons and was released.
  • Two females, ages 21 and 17, were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at , 2055 Saint Louis Galleria. Each received a summons. The 17-year-old was released and the 21-year-old was turned over to another agency that had been seeking her arrest.

May 7

  • A 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting , 1176 Saint Louis Galleria. She received a summons and was released.

May 8

  • A victim reported being robbed by a man who implied he had a gun in the elevator of , 8040 Clayton Rd. An investigation was ongoing.
  • A victim reported that someone threw a rock through a window of his car overnight as it was parked in a private driveway in the 1400 block of Collins Avenue.
  • A victim reported that his bike was taken from bike rack on the sidewalk outside of Schnucks. His bike lock had been cut while he was inside the store.

May 9

  • A 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Macy's. He received a summons and was released.
  • Two males, both age 16, were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Macy's. They were turned over to the St. Louis County Juvenile Detention Center.
  • An 18-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Dillard's. She received a summons and was released.
