Richmond Heights Police Blotter: Resident Reports Fraud Using Debit-Card Information and More

A look at incidents reported by the Richmond Heights police.

  • A victim reported that more than $500 was taken fraudulently from his bank account using information from his debit card. The victim lives in the 1200 block of Hampton Park Drive. An investigation was ongoing.
  • A 69-year-old female is suspected of open burning at a private yard in the 8000 block of Hicks Avenue. She had been trying to burn personal papers when the yard ignited. The assisted in putting out the fire.
  • A 16-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of trespassing after refusing to leave the , 1155 Saint Louis Galleria. He had be escorted out of the mall in connection with a disturbance a short time earlier. He was turned over to his mother.
  • A 41-year-old female and a 56-year-old male were arrested on suspicion of domestic assault. It happened at a private residence in the 1300 block of Laclede Station Road. Both appeared to be intoxicated at the time of the arrests.

Feb. 19

  • A victim reported that a license plate was stolen from her car in the 7700 block of Snowden Avenue.
  • A 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of stealing at , 1491 Saint Louis Galleria. He received a court summons and was released.
  • Two male suspects, ages 22 and 24, were arrested on suspicion of distribution of marijuana on a sidewalk outside of the Galleria. Police received an anonymous call saying that two males had tried to sell marijuana to him. Police reported finding marijuana in the pockets of both suspects.

  • A 22-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct in the 7700 block of Brookline Terrace. Police received reports of a loud party at the suspect's home, and police said she did not cooperate in quieting down the event. She received a court summons and was released.
  • A 23-year-old female victim reported being bitten by her neighbor's dog as she walked toward her house in the 1000 block of Commodore Drive. The neighbor, who had been walking his dogs when one broke loose, received a court summons. St. Louis County Animal Control Services received notification of the incident.
  • A 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest and possession of narcotics near Interstate 170 and Galleria Parkway. A police officer had stopped the driver in his vehicle on suspicion of littering when the suspect began running from the car. A brief foot chase and struggle followed. Police said narcotics were found in the suspect's possession.

Feb. 22

  • Two males, ages 33 and 19, and a 17-year-old female, were arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct at the Galleria. They were being held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.
