A look at incidents reported by the Richmond Heights police.

  • A 33-year-old male suspect was arrested , 1105 , in connection with a fraud investigation. Police said marijuana was found in one of the suspect's pockets after his arrest.

Feb. 3

  • A 14-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting , 1550 Saint Louis Galleria. Her parents could not be found, so she was placed in the custody of the .
  • Two females are suspected of having shoplifted multiple items of clothing from Baby Gap, 1087 Saint Louis Galleria. Upon being confronted about the incident by an employee outside of the store, one of the women is suspected of having tried to hit the employee and then yelling "rape" before the two fled. An investigation was ongoing.

  • A man was arrested on suspicion of stealing and trespassing in connection with an incident at the , 2440 Saint Louis Galleria. A report indicated that the suspect had shoplifted before running from the Apple store. He was later arrested at a MetroLink platform. Police said he had previously been banned from the Galleria on suspicion of stealing. He was being held pending a review by the city's prosecutor.
  • A man is suspected of having hired a locksmith to unlock his vehicle, then driving away without compensating the locksmith. The incident was reported at , 1220 S. Big Bend Blvd.
  • A 25-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his wife amid an argument about finances. It happened in the 7100 block of Horner Avenue. He was being held pending a review by the city's prosecutor.
  • A 25-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of property damage at , 2055 Saint Louis Galleria. The suspect, who was dressed as a female, hid several pieces of clothing in a purse and discarded them as he left. Inspection of the clothing revealed that it had been damaged when its sensor tags were removed. He was being held pending a review by the city's prosecutor.
  • Two males, ages 13 and 15, were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Macy's. They were turned over to their parents.

Feb. 6

  • A 36-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting , 6600 Clayton Rd. He was being held pending a review by the city's prosecutor.
  • A cell phone and laptop were taken from an unlocked locker at , 8001 Dale Ave.

  • A 2008 Honda Accord was broken in a parking lot at the Galleria. An iPod and a GPS were stolen.
  • A 58-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct , 6734 Clayton Rd. Police said they were called to the restaurant on a report of a woman who was refusing to pay her bill. The woman is then suspected of having become "verbally combative" with police, which prompted the arrest. She was being held pending a review by the city's prosecutor because of her extensive arrest record.

Feb. 8

  • A 62-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Concept Collection, 5555 Saint Louis Galleria. The woman also is suspected of having committed a probation violation in connection with a previous shoplifting case. She was being held pending a review by the city's prosecutor.
  • A 56-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his girlfriend after an argument in a parking lot at the Galleria. He was being held pending a review by the city's prosecutor.
  • A 26-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Dillard's. He received a summons and was released to the custody of another agency that had been seeking to arrest him.
