Richmond Heights Police Blotter: Bathroom Campout Labeled Trespassing

The Richmond Heights Police Department reported the following incidents on its website.

  • A victim told police that one of his credit cards had been used fraudulently at Nordstrom, 1453 , after the theft of his wallet in Maplewood. An investigation was ongoing.
  • A customer stole the cellphone of the desk clerk at Pacific Beach Tan, 6650 Clayton Rd. An investigation was ongoing.
  • Three women, two age 17 and one 19, were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at , 1550 Saint Louis Galleria. They received summonses and were released.
  • A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing after police said he took up residence in the restroom of , 1313 Boland Pl. He was being held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.


Oct. 20

  • A victim reported that her credit card had been used at several Galleria stores after she left it in a mall ATM machine. An investigation was ongoing.
  • A 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Macy's. She received a summons and was released.

  • A victim's credit card was used to purchase tickets at a MetroLink station after her purse went missing at the Galleria. She told police she set it down while shopping.


Oct. 23

  • Numerous electronics and musical instruments were stolen during a burglary at an apartment building, 7086 Oakland Ave.
