RH Police: Woman Assaulted by Boyfriend While at St. Mary's

Richmond Heights Police dealt with thefts at the Galleria and other crime.

Wednesday, April 24

  • Officers responded to a motorist slumped over at the wheel at Big Bend and I-64. At arrival, investigation found the motorist to be intoxicated. The driver was arrested and later released on municipal court summonses.
  • A doctor at SSM St. Mary's Health Center reported his briefcase containing cash and a credit card was stolen from his office. A short time later a suspicious subject was stopped by security as he exited the bathroom. Security found the stolen items in the bathroom and detained the subject. The items were returned and the subject arrested on outstanding warrants.

  • Victim in the Ridgetop Subdivision reported that person(s) unknown entered two of his unlocked vehicles, stealing a wallet from one of them.

Friday, April 26

  • A subject who was previously banned from St. Mary’s hospital was located on hospital property by security. Officers responded and arrested the subject who was held pending a municipal warrant application.
  • Victim stated that person(s) unknown stole his vehicle while it was parked in front of his residence, overnight in the 1100 block of Blendon. 
  • Victim reported that several of his business’ checks were stolen, two being cashed at US Bank.

  • Victim/patron stated that person(s) unknown entered his hotel room at the Cheshire Inn while he was out and stole his pistol.

Sunday, April 28

  • Victim reported that her boyfriend assaulted her during her stay at St. Mary’s hospital.

Monday, April 29

  • An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on I-64 at Big Bend. Investigation revealed the license plate on the vehicle was reported stolen though another jurisdiction. The driver was arrested and later released on a summons.

Tuesday, April 30

  • Officers responded to Dillard’s where security detained a subject for stealing $657.65 in merchandise. The subject was arrested and later released on a State warrant application.
  • A resident and her roommate in the 7000 block of Mitchell were both arrested after a call for police investigation resulted in the discovery that the two engaged in a physical altercation over money. Both subjects were held pending a municipal warrant application.
  • Officers responded to Dillard’s where security had detained a subject for concealing $360 in merchandise into a shopping bag. The subject was arrested and later released on a summons.
