RH Police: Security Officer at St. Mary's Assaulted

Tuesday, June 12

  • An officer patrolling the area at Eager and Brentwood observed a vehicle traveling on two flat tires and violating several traffic laws. A traffic stop and subsequent investigation resulted in the driver being arrested for suspicion on DWI. The driver was later released on several municipal court summonses.
  • An officer responded to Interstate 64 and Big Bend and found a driver slumped over at the wheel of his car while stopped in traffic. Investigation resulted in the driver being arrested for suspicion of DWI. The driver was later released on municipal court summonses.
  • Officers responded to Sephora where security detained a subject for stealing $188 in merchandise. The subject was arrested and held pending a municipal warrant application.
Wednesday, June 13
  • Officers responded to Macy’s where security detained a subject for stealing $944.23 in merchandise. The subject was arrested and later released pending a state warrant application.
  • An officer stopped a vehicle at I-64 and Hanley for a traffic violation. Investigation found the driver of the vehicle to be in possession of marijuana. The driver was arrested and later released on municipal court summonses.
  • Victim reported that a client passed a bad check at Big Bend Veterinary Clinic several months ago.
  • A security officer stated that he was physically assaulted by the owner of a vehicle the security officer was citing for parking illegally. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. Investigation is ongoing.
