RH Police: Runaway Teen Admitted to Hospital

Richmond Heights Police dealt with thefts at the Galleria and other crime.

Tuesday, May 7

  • Officers responded to Solstice where three subjects concealed $6,100 worth of sunglasses into True Religion bags they were carrying. Store associates were able to wrestle the merchandise from the subjects who then made good their escape.
  • Victim responded to the station and reported that her cousin stole her credit card and used it fraudulently to purchase Air Jordan tennis shoes from Foot Locker.
  • Officers responded to Macy’s where security had detained a subject for stealing $68 in merchandise. The subject was arrested and held on a municipal warrant application.

  • An officer on routine patrol conducted a pedestrian check on a subject determined to be a runaway juvenile. The juvenile had signs of self-inflicted injuries and was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital where he was admitted as a psychiatric patient.
