RH Police: Patient Broke Fingers of Nurse at St. Mary's

Tuesday, July 9

  • Officers responded to EJ’s shoes where two subjects had just stole $100 in merchandise and left the area in a white SUV. A responding officer located the SUV, curbed it, arrested the occupants and recovered the merchandise. The arrested subjects were held pending a municipal warrant application.
Wednesday, July 10
  • Officers responded to the St. Mary’s hospital gift shop where security detained a subject for stealing a can of soda. The subject was arrested and later released on a summons.
  • The resident reported that personal checks were stolen from her home in the 7600 block of Lindbergh and she suspects the housekeeping business she employs.
  • Officers responded to Nordstrom where security detained an employee for conducting multiple fraudulent returns to the same credit card over several weeks. The subject was arrested and later released pending a state warrant application.
  • A St. Mary’s nurse reported that a patient resisted during treatment breaking her fingers. The subject was released from the hospital prior to this agency being notified.
  • The resident reported that she found several pieces of inexpensive jewelry and pieces of kitchenware were missing from her home in the 7200 block of Nashville.
Thursday, July 11
  • A neighbor reported seeing two subjects wearing hard hats and safety vests breaking into his neighbor’s home in the 1400 block of Laclede Station. Jewelry and a camcorder were reported taken.
  • A neighbor found the residential front door in the 8000 block of Elenor standing ajar and notified police. Investigation revealed the door to be forced open and a television stolen. This incident is likely to have occurred just prior to the incident described above.
  • Officers responded to Macy’s where security detained a subject for stealing $406 in merchandise. The subject was arrested and held pending a municipal warrant application.
  • Victim, a Nordstrom employee, reported that her former fiancé was in Nordstrom as she was working. This violated the terms of a full order of protection the employee had against the subject. The subject was released from the scene pending a state warrant application.
  • Officers responded to Macy’s where security detained two juveniles for stealing $182.38 in merchandise. The juveniles were arrested. One juvenile was released to a guardian while the other was transferred to the St. Louis County Juvenile Detention Center.
