RH Police: Multiple Break-Ins at The Heights

The Richmond Heights Police reported the following incidents.

The following information was supplied by the Richmond Heights Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, June 4

  • A counterfeit $100 bill, found in the previous day’s receipts at Raising Cane's, was traced back to the acquaintance of a current employee. The acquaintance was contacted and provided the name of the person she received the note from. The matter was referred to the United States Secret Service for their consideration.
  • A 17 year old female was arrested for shoplifting at Dillard's.  She was booked and released with a municipal court summons.
Wednesday, June 5
  • Officers responded to Lake Forest subdivision for a reported dog bite incident. The owner of the animal was on the scene and was able to provide proper paperwork showing the animal’s vaccinations were current.
  • Two juveniles were arrested for shoplifting at Macy's and taken to Family Court when no parent could be reached to pick them up.
  • Someone broke into the victim’s vehicle while parked at The Heights, stealing sunglasses.
  • Someone broke into the victim’s vehicle at The Heights stealing a backpack and folder.
  • Someone attempted to break into the victim’s vehicle at The Heights causing damage to the door handle.
  • Two individuals were arrested after becoming involved in an altercation inside the movie theatre at the St. Louis Galleria. Municipal charges will be applied for.
Thursday, June 6 
  • A 48 year old male was arrested for shoplifting at Dillard's. He was booked and held for municipal warrant application.
