RH Police: Man Flourishes Gun, Employee Theft

Richmond Heights Police dealt with thefts at the Galleria and other crime between April 7-9.

Sunday, April 7

  • The owner of Schon discovered $160 missing from a register drawer. Employee theft is suspected.

  • Officers responded to Macy’s where security detained a juvenile for stealing $82.98 in merchandise. The juvenile was arrested and later released to a parent.

Tuesday, April 9

  • Officers responded to the area of SSM St. Mary’s offices’ garage for a flourishing. The victim reported that he confronted a man (suspect) who took his parking space and a verbal argument ensued. The victim reported that the suspect pointed a gun at him and left the area in his vehicle. Officers located the suspect and an arrest was made without incident. The suspect was held on a state warrant application.
