RH Police: Laptop, Garmin GPS Stolen

Richmond Heights Police dealt with thefts at the Galleria and other crime.

The following information was supplied by the Richmond Heights Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, May 30

  • Someone gained entry to the victim’s vehicle in the 8500 block of Bryan by removing the driver’s door window. The interior contents were disturbed but nothing appeared to be missing. A document with blood on it was seized from the center console and will be submitted to the St. Louis County lab for testing. Two other vehicles in the neighborhood were also damaged overnight.
  • Someone gained entry to the victim’s vehicle in the 8400 block of Winzenburg by breaking out the driver’s door window however nothing was reported missing. See above.
  • Someone gained entry to the victim’s vehicle in the 8500 block of Bryan by forcibly removing the driver’s door window. A Garmin GPS and Bose headphones were taken from inside. There are no suspects. See above.
Friday, May 31
  • A laptop computer was stolen from a guest’s room at the Homewood Suites sometime during a three day period. The matter is being investigated.
  • While shopping in the women’s shoe department of Macy’s, the victim thought she placed her wallet back into her purse after making a purchase. She later discovered her wallet missing while at Panera Bread in the Galleria and learned her credit cards had been used at the Micro Center and Target stores in Brentwood.
