RH Police: Car Crash Leads to Fight on I-64

Sunday, June 23

  • Officers responded to I-64 for an auto accident that involved a physical altercation. Investigation revealed that the driver of the struck vehicle (driver 2) slapped the driver of the striking vehicle (driver 1) in the face. Driver 2 was arrested for assault and later released on a municipal warrant application.
  • Officers responded to Love Culture where security detained a subject for stealing $42.85 in merchandise. The subject was arrested and later released on a summons.
  • Victim stated that person(s) unknown broke into his vehicle and stole his mobile phone and Bible, while parked on the Esquire lot.
  • Victim stated that person(s) unknown stole his handgun from his car while he was paying for gas.
Tuesday, June 25
  • An argument between two adult siblings regarding the quality of music being played resulted in the brother assaulting the sister. The suspect was arrested and held pending a municipal warrant application.
  • Victim stated that person(s) unknown entered his vehicle in the 7100 block of Nashville and disturbed its contents. Nothing was missing and there was no forced entry.
  • Victim stated that person(s) unknown entered his vehicle in the 7100 block of Nashville and disturbed its contents. The victim’s wallet was missing but there was no forced entry.
  • Victim returned to his residence in the 7200 block of Glades to find the back door forced open. A check of the residence found that a watch, TV and prescription medicine was stolen.
  • Officers responded to Microsoft where security detained an employee who had made purchases with gift cards that the employee intentionally failed to cancel after prior customers made purchases with them. The employee was arrested and held on a municipal warrant application.
  • Officers responded to Macy’s where security detained a juvenile for stealing $110.49 in merchandise. The juvenile was arrested and later released to a parent.
  • An officer conducted a check on a suspicious vehicle and investigation revealed the occupant to be in possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. The subject was arrest and later released on a state warrant application.
