Police: Vehicle Theft on Buck, Stolen iPad at Cheshire and More

Tuesday, Sept. 4
An employee of The Cheshire hotel, 6300 Clayton Rd., is under investigation in connection with the theft of an iPad from a guest room.

A cellphone was stolen during a vehicle break-in that happened in the Tropicana Lanes parking lot, 7960 Clayton Rd. A window had been broken. The phone had been lying on the front seat.

Thursday, Sept. 6
A person is suspected of joining an established account at Sprint, 6622 Clayton Rd., without authorization. An investigation was underway.

Friday, Sept. 7
A bangle bracelet worth nearly $200 was stolen from Coach at the Saint Louis Galleria. Video surveillance captured the suspect, but police had no further leads.

A 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and having outstanding warrants at the Galleria. She was being held while police applied for a warrant.

Three perpetrators stole sunglasses worth $1,300 from Sunglass Hut at the Galleria before fleeing. There were no leads.

Monday, Sept. 10
A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault after police responded to a disturbance in the 1800 block of Princeton Place. He was being held while police applied for a warrant.

Tuesday, Sept. 11
A vehicle was stolen overnight in the 1200 block of Buck Avenue. A spare key had been left on the vehicle's floorboard. A perpetrator rummaged through the vehicles of two neighbors but did not steal the vehicles.

Saturday, Sept. 15
Two juvenile women were arrested on suspicion of stealing clothing worth nearly $200 at Macy's at the Galleria. They were released to their parents, and a report was sent to the St. Louis County Family Court.

Monday, Sept. 17
A man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his girlfriend at the Galleria. The woman said the two got into an argument during which the man grabbed her hair and pushed her. He was being held while police applied for a warrant.

Tuesday, Sept. 18
A person was arrested on suspicion of trespassing at the Galleria. Police said the person previously had been banned on suspicion of stealing.
