The incident happened on the parking lot of the Richmond Heights mall.

A bystander in the parking lot recently helped security grab a person suspected of stealing—but not before his wife got hit by a car.

On the lot, the bystander tried to stop her from getting into her car. The suspect got into her car and backed out of her parking space, hitting the wife of the bystander. She declined medical attention.
