Police: Suspect Runs Out of True Religion With Clothing

Sunday, Aug. 18

  • An officer patrolling the Galleria observed a subject running from the True Religion store holding a large amount of un-bagged clothing. The officer chased the subject outside where a vehicle was parked at the curb waiting. The officer was able to apprehend the occupants of the vehicle but the subject made his escape. The subject was identified and is currently being sought. The occupants of the vehicle were arrested and held on a state warrant application.
Monday, Aug. 19
  • Officers responded to Macy’s where security detained a subject for stealing $350 in merchandise. The subject was arrested and held on a municipal warrant application.
Tuesday, Aug. 20
  • A subject walked into the bank and presented a note to a checker demanding money. The checker complied and the subject left with almost $3,000. The subject was tracked to Mike Duffy’s restaurant where he was arrested and the money recovered. State warrants were later issued against the subject.
  • Officers responded to Macy’s where security detained a subject for stealing $116 in merchandise. The subject was arrested and later released on a summons.
