Police: Student Sexually Assaulted on Wash U's Athletic Field
The incident occurred around 1:50 a.m. Sunday morning.
The Washington University Police Department reports that a female student was sexually assaulted on the school's athletic fields in the early morning hours of Sunday, Oct. 6.
Quoting from the Wash U report:
A female student reports she was sexually assaulted on the Intramural Athletic Field by a subject she met at a downtown St. Louis venue. WUPD Officers detained a suspect shortly after being notified of the reported assault. The victim subsequently identified the suspect as being involved. The suspect is not affiliated with the University. Due to the location of the incident, Clayton Police are investigating.
