Police in Richmond Heights Plan Annual Golf Tournament

The Aug. 3 event will benefit the department's Police and Community Together (P.A.C.T.) Unit.

Teams and sponsors are being sought for an annual golf tournament benefiting the 's community policing unit.

The Aug. 3 tournament will be the 15th of its kind. The event benefits the department's .

Teams of four people will play 18 holes at Norman K. Probstein Golf Course in Forest Park.

Each team will have use of a cart. Attendance prizes also will be awarded during the event, which will feature a silent auction, beer and soda, and lunch and dinner. Lunch is scheduled for 12:30 p.m., and a shotgun start is planned at 1:30 p.m.

Those interested in becoming a sponsor may choose from several options, including registering a team, sponsoring a hole and donating items to the auction.

Those interested may register a team or become a sponsor by calling 314-655-3535, going to rhpolice.org, faxing a form to 314-655-3632 or mailing a form to Richmond Heights Golf Tournament, 7447 Dale Ave., Richmond Heights, MO 63117.
