Motorcyclist Flees Traffic Stop on Foot, Richmond Heights Police Say

The incident happened early Wednesday afternoon.

A motorcyclist who fled from on foot Wednesday afternoon has been arrested, Sgt. Doug Schaeffler said.

It happened at about 1 p.m. Police were in the process of conducting a traffic stop with the driver when he ran away, Schaeffler said. The suspect was caught on Hanley Road near Clayton Road and arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest and traffic violations.

Jefferson County appears to have issued a warrant for his arrest, Schaeffler said.
