Police said between Nov. 1 and Feb. 28, Hartman would tell some garages were closed on days they were opened and would keep the cash receipts. An internal investigation by the company determined Hartman stole $15,873 over several months.
Hartman told police he is addicted to gambling and used the money to fund “a serious gambling binge,” according to a court document.
