Man Vandalized Clayton Planters and Trashcans, Police Say
Joshua Hurst, 23, was charged with first-degree property damage and resisting arrest stemming from the Feb. 10 incident.
A 23-year-old man damaged plant holders and trashcans owned by the city of Clayton on Feb. 10, police said.
Joshua Hurst, 23, of Mount Vernon, IL, was charged Monday with first-degree property damage and resisting arrest.
St. Louis County prosecutors said Hurst did more than $750 in damage to the plant holders and trashcans. Officers spotted him during the vandalism spree at about 3:11 a.m. Feb. 10, according to a court document.

Hurst also fled from Clayton Police officers, prosecutors said.
Bail has been set at $15,000 for Hurst.
