Jewelry Thefts Reported in Richmond Heights

Jewelry valued in the tens of thousands of dollars has been reported stolen recently, the reported.

On July 17, a resident reported $21,000 in jewelry missing from a home on Scarsdale Lane. The resident filed the report two weeks after the incident occurred.

Then on July 20, jewelry valued at more than $25,000 was reported stolen from a home in the 7900 block of Bennett Avenue.

There were no signs of forced entry, and the residents could not account for any unusual activity, police said.

The following day—July 21—a resident of , 7920 Clayton Rd., reported that two rings had been stolen within the past month from a jewelry box in her room.
