Collaring the Cleaning Lady

At 6:37 p.m. Sept. 26, officers in Kirkwood responded to the area of Kirkshire and Regent Terrace for a report of solicitors. Officers located a woman from California who was selling cleaning products. She was arrested on suspicion of soliciting without a license.

Wondering if the Taser Was Mightier than the Sword

A man called police reporting his roommate had threatened him with a Taser and a sword before taking money and illegal drugs from his home on Cleveland Drive. The suspect fled and was being sought by detectives.

Kirkwood police responded to a report that numerous traffic cones and street signs were discovered in the vicinity of the 300 block of Reith Terrace. Investigation revealed the equipment belonged to .

The Things We Steal

Cheese, Lysol and medicine were reported stolen from inside a business in the 7300 block of Manchester Road in Maplewood. Police records show an arrest was made.

Lawn Furniture Targeted

Lawn furniture, two bags of potting soil and two clay pots were thrown into a pool July 22 in the 400 block of White Pine Ridge Court in Chesterfield.

Someone damaged several mailboxes and threw furniture into a pool July 24 in the 16000 block of Lea Oak Court in Chesterfield.

The Knife is Mightier that the Pen

A 50-year-old woman is suspected of having assaulted a man by stabbing him in the chest with a pen, causing minor injuries. The incident happened in the 1000 block of Appalachian Trail in Chesterfield.

A 37-year-old woman is suspected of having assaulted her boyfriend with a knife, causing minor injuries, in the 16000 block of Lea Oak Court.

What's in a Name?

A drug arrest was made in Maplewood near the corner of, appropriately, High Street and Bellevue Avenue.

All But a 'Steal Me' Sign at the Scene of the Crime

A white-and-black 2009 Honda CBR 600 RR, Phoenix special edition motorcycle was stolen Sept. 27 from an open garage of a residence on Green Jade Estates Drive in Fenton. The victim had left the key in the ignition of the motorcycle and left the garage door open.
