Crime Alert From The City Of Clayton
The Clayton Police Department reports a recent increase in car break-ins throughout the Clayton community.
From the Clayton Police Department's website:
Car break-ins are occurring throughout the Clayton and St. Louis areas and particularly in our neighboring communities.
The Police Department would like to remind Clayton citizens to always lock vehicles and remove valuables. Leaving items like GPS units and cell phone in plain sight makes your vehicle a prime target.
If possible, park your vehicle in your driveway or garage, since thieves generally target vehicles parked on the street. You can help discourage these incidents in our community by reporting any suspicious activity in your neighborhood – please call the Clayton Police at 314-645-3000.
