Cleaning Woman Stole Rolex From Clayton Home, Police Say

The woman told Clayton Police she sold the watch to a store in the city of St. Louis.

A cleaning woman is accused of stealing a Rolex watch from a home she cleaned in the 7400 block of Somerset Avenue in Clayton.

Sade R. Snofke, 25, of the 3500 block of Franklin Avenue in St. Louis, was charged Feb. 27 with felony stealing.

Clayton Police said Snofke worked for a cleaning company that cleaned the home the home Sept. 21, the same day the watch went missing. Police said Snofke admitted stealing the watch and said she sold it to a store in the city of St. Louis.

Snofke was arrested on a warrant Monday. She filed 10 percent of a $7,500 bond and was released from St. Louis County jail March 2.
