Clayton Police: Burglary in Progress Reported on Venetian Drive

Sunday, Sept. 15 

• Person(s) unknown entered two unlocked vehicles in the 7400 Block of Wellington Way. Nothing was reported missing from the vehicles. 

• Officers responded to a burglary in progress in the 8000 Block of Venetian Drive. The suspect had just entered the residence when the home owner, who was home at time, came in contact with the suspect. The suspect then immediately left the residence in an unknown direction. The resident was not injured. Nothing was reported missing. The suspect is described as: Black, male, tall, thin build, 30-40 years old.
