Clayton Police Blotter: Person Reports Overnight Theft of License Plates

A look at incidents reported by the Clayton police.

The reported the following incidents in an email.

March 13

  • A person reported that license plates were stolen overnight from his vehicle, which had been parked in a driveway near Clayton Road and Ridgemoor Drive.

March 23

  • A person was arrested on suspicion of stealing from a business in the 8200 block of Clayton Road. Police said that the suspect later confessed and that the stolen property was returned to the owner.

March 28

  • A wallet was reported stolen from a purse that had been left under a desk in an unsecured office. It happened in the 6800 block of Wydown Boulevard.
