Holiday Gifts for This Blogger

With so many holidays to celebrate the Winter Solstice, there is a "price point" for everyone to gift this Blogger.

This Blogger's phone has been ringing off the hook as anxious friends, relatives, and readers inquire,"What do you want for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Festivus, etc.?" (depending on their religious affiliation).

If you bought a gift for this Blogger on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, there is no need to read further.

If you HAVE NOT included this Blogger in your shopping yet, please read on. Of course these are only SUGGESTIONS and like all free will decisions, the final buying choice is up to you. Remember, what you sow is what you reap...Becasue this Blogger was almost engaged to a Jewish girl in college, Jewish friends want to know what inexpensive "chsotskies" they can hand off to me during the holidaze.

The Blogger's favorite choices are the $1.00 bins for kids at the inside entrance of . Any of these toys (because the Blogger is a kid at heart) will do, but his favorite is either the multicolored full-sized plastic slinky or the miniature metal one.

Because the Blogger likes to be clean, Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap is always a nice gift. Also, twelve pack rolls of paper towels, especially the ones wherein you decide by tearing them off how long the paper towel sheets should be.

Finally, after-shave at Macy's is good. Favorite after-shaves are scents that are outdoorsy- lumberjack-manly like Burnt Mesquite, Pro-Football Locker-room Eau-de-Cologne, and Pepperoni/Italian Sausage Smell Pizza. If you shop carefully you get free gifts with the cologne like logoed duffel bags which are perfect to re-gift to that 7th grade male in your family.

Mid-county is the "Cheesecake Crossroads of the World". Gift cards for cheesecake can be had in any denomination from , , and . Give the gift of cheesecake and this recipient may even share some with you!

Please: NO belts, ties, or money clip holders. As the father of three grown children, I have a closet-ful of these items. In fact, the Blogger's girlfriend says she wants to put the ties on eBay or Etsy as they span three decades of fashion and non-fashion. Ummm, now this Blogger may have solved his problem of "What to Get You".

Ties are always a great gift for men (sort of the Fruitcake present for guys) and women have been donning them since "Annie Hall".

Happy Gift Giving!
