Rain or Shine the Clayton Farmer's Market is Delightful!

As happy as I was to see the rain Saturday morning, I was concerned that it would dampen spirits and affect attendance at this week's Clayton Farmer's Market.  I'm here to tell you that it definitely did not!  Most of the regular Saturday morning shoppers like myself were out enjoying the cooler, wet weather and supporting the terrific merchants who make the market such a success.  I quickly mastered juggling my umbrella and then, as usual, I ate my way from booth to booth...one to eat now and one (or more) for later is my motto!  

Going to the market is, of course, a wonderful foodie experience, but it's also all about people and community, too.  I look forward to seeing all the regular vendors on a weekly basis, and it's fun to be surprised with some new faces and businesses as well.  And what a delight it is to see so many friends and neighbors enjoying this wonderful community asset every Saturday morning.

So, a big thank you to Market Master Deb Henderson and everyone who helps make the Clayton Farmer's Market such an enjoyable Saturday morning experience.  See you next week!
