Party Like It's 2012: Good Times on Tap for New Year's Eve

Check out these ides in Clayton and other communities for some fun New Year's ideas.


: 9 p.m.-1 a.m. 
BARcelona offers a chef's tasting menu as well as live music. All-you-can-drink wristbands are available for $25.

: 5 p.m.-midnight at
This restaurant's five to six-course meal is priced at $85.

You can party in the Lobby Lounge from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. There will be gourmet food, martinis and music from J. Rob. You can reserve a couch for $500, otherwise, it is on a first come first serve basis. Also, The Grill will serve a six-course meal for $149. At press time, reservations were still available for 5 p.m.

The restaurant offers a four-course dinner menu with several options for $55 per person.

In addition to its regular menu, the restaurant will offer a five-course menu for $50, in addition to its regular menu.

The hotel offers three packages to choose from, all with live entertainment, an open bar and Champagne at midnight. They range in price from $49 to $165.

Maryland Heights

: 9 p.m.-1 a.m.
Ring in the new year with the Platinum Rock Legends. There will be a dinner buffet from 7-8:30pm with two drink tickets, as well as a disc jockey, private seating and a Champagne toast.

: 8 p.m.-1 a.m. 
In addition to taking in Billy Peek's performance, attendees have several options. Package A offers party favors, a Champagne toast and a late night buffet for $25. Package B offers party favors, an open bar, a Champagne toast, accommodations at the Sheraton Westport and a late night buffet for $250 per couple.

: 8 and 10:30 p.m. 
John Morgan, the Ragin' Cajun, is a comedian who has made appearances on MTV and Showtime and opened for Michael Bolton, The Monkeys and Jerry Seinfeld. Get tickets for $20-$30 here.

: 6:30 p.m. 
Sh-Boom performs songs from the '50s and '60s, and Moolah offers an open bar, valet, dinner and a Champagne toast for $89.

: 9 p.m. 
The cover band Bitter Pill helps ring in the new year.

University City

: 9 p.m. 
Enjoy Devon Allman's Honeytribe, an open bar, party favors and a Champagne toast for $35.

: 9 p.m.
Umphrey's McGee holds its final performance of the weekend to ring in the new year. Tickets are $65.

Public House: 9 p.m. 
Jeremiah Johnson and the Sliders ring in the new year. Cover is $5.

: 9 p.m.
Not Waving But Drowning, with Machree, The Disappeared, and Fister perform at this New Year's Eve celebration with no cover charge.


: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
The Annual Florissant Senior Citizen’s New Year’s Afternoon Party is themed New Year's Eve in Paris. Tables are reserved with eight people per table. Florissant residents can enjoy the Michael Lacey Band, dinner, beverages, snacks, beer, wine, noisemakers and nonalcoholic champagne for $15. Call 314-839-7604 for information.
