Fourth of July: What's Open, Closed in Clayton, Richmond Heights

As the Clayton and Richmond Heights area celebrates the Fourth of July with this long weekend, many local businesses are changing their hours to give employees a holiday break.

The following is a list of what Patch found to be open and closed Thursday and Friday, July 4-5. 

Attractions/Entertainment

  • Center of Clayton: Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday
  • THE HEIGHTS will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 4 
  • Maplewood Family Aquatic Center will be open from noon to 6 p.m.
  • St. Louis Zoo: Open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m Thursday.
Businesses
  • Nadoz Cafe: Open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Government Offices
  • Clayton City Hall: Closed Thursday.
  • Richmond Heights City Hall: Closed Thursday. 
  • St. Louis County Library: Branches will be closed Thursday, but will reopen Friday.
  • U.S. Postal Service: Post offices are closed and mail will not be delivered Thursday, but the postal service schedule resumes with offices open and mail delivered on Friday.
