Students at Wydown Middle School have started a campaign to eliminate plastic bags in Clayton.

Wydown Middle School eighth graders are aiming to reduce plastic bag use in Clayton, according to a Riverfront Times report

Members of the Clayton Plastic Bag Campaign convinced the city's Board of Aldermen to print stickers businesses can display supporting the ban, in addition to the purchase of 1,000 canvas shopping bags, Riverfront Times reports.
