Photos: On Saturday, it’s Farmer’s Market, rain or shine

Hot summer and a the first rainy day on the Clayton Farmer's Market; more art, science and play.

The past few weeks, neither scorching heat, nor rain could interrupt the activities on Clayton Farmer’s Market. The produce of the season is plentiful and fresh in the booths of our farmers. There is also new craft presented almost every week. Children and their parents are looking forward the surprises of the week; there is always new information, music, culinary demonstration and play.

See articles about our vendors at by Nate Birt  and Angela Atkinson and you can also look at back issues of my photojournal of the season on Patch. Current issues to follow about the market matters: Preserve the Clayton Farmer’s Market by Deb Henderson and see Feast magazine publication on how to support Black Bear Bakery, by Robin Seaton Jefferson.

Major sponsors of the market: City of Clayton and Straub's.
