The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis Introduces New ‘Sunday All-Day Breakfast Spread’

In a nod to families’ hectic schedules, The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis is offering a new “Sunday All-Day Breakfast Spread,” which replaces the traditional Sunday brunch at the Clayton luxury hotel.  The new breakfast offering will be rolled out Sunday, January 19, in The Restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis.

Served from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m., the “Sunday All-Day Breakfast Spread” will feature a lavish display of strictly breakfast favorites – a hearty mix of fruits, cold offerings and hot dishes, an expanded array of delectable bakery goodies fresh from the hotel’s kitchens, and made-to-order omelets, waffles, pancakes, and crepes.

The “Sunday All-Day Breakfast Spread” is an enhanced version of the breakfast the hotel serves Monday through Saturday.  For example, the made-to-order pancakes and crepes are new to The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis breakfast lineup.  The selection of crepes will include a “Savory” version with Mornay Sauce, and a “Sweet” version with Bourbon Butter.  Shrimp and sausage have been added to the omelet ingredient options.  And more than a dozen pancake and waffle toppings await guests, including Mini Marshmallow, Cinnamon Apple Syrup, Bananas Foster Compote, and Vanilla Pineapple Compote.

“Our new Sunday All-Day Breakfast Spread reflects the changing needs and desires of our guests,” said The Ritz-Carlton Executive Chef Melissa Lee.  “Our guests today are looking for a breakfast option perhaps on a less grand fashion than our Sunday brunch yet delivering that same Ritz-Carlton flair and superior standards.  It will still be a special experience, and one our guests may enjoy more often, especially those with children.  More informal with delicious and bountiful breakfast fare.”

Priced at the Monday through Saturday breakfast level of $23 for adults, $11.50 for kids ages 5 through 12, and no charge for kids under 5 - and served well into the afternoon - the“Sunday All-Day Breakfast Spread” offers even more value and flexibility for families, Lee added.

A selection of champagnes, sparkling wine and Bloody Marys will be available for an additional charge.

Ritz-Carlton brunch fans, fear not.  The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis will still offer its year-long lineup of spectacular Holiday Brunches, with the first scheduled for Easter Sunday, April 20.
